At the end of each football season, clubs do take stock, the case in most businesses. Weaknesses identified need a remedy as strengths sustained.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko appointed a 12 member board which later instituted a management team to oversee day-to-day administration of the club.

Eliminated from the CAF inter-club competitions, the Porcupines turned focus to the local league. On the brink of a climax, Kotoko are set to lose the ultimate.

Supporters divided, many have called for a change in the technical and administrative sectors of the club.

Speaking to a supporters leader, name withheld, he confirmed to this website that arrangements are in place for a change.

“The club will let go of Nana Yaw Amponsah. He doesn’t mingle well with the grassroots (supporters)”.

Quizzed on who will replace Mr. Amponsah who joined the club in August last year, Mr. Cudjoe Fianoo’s name popped up.

“Mr. Fianoo is in line to replace him. Fianoo has a lot of experience in the game and is best suit for the club. The club’s directors are bringing him because we need him to lead our day-to-day running” concluded our source.

Mr. Cudjoe Fianoo who is the current Chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) vacated a similar position at Obuasi Ashantigold SC in 2018. He helped the club break their 19 year league title drought in his tenure with the ‘Miners’.
